Class Description

Class specializes in the Street Dance Form, Waacking focusing on body exploration, foundation, technique, freestyle, and community building.

About the Teacher

Jack Rushford (they/them) is a dancer who specializes in the dance form—“Waacking.” Jack has trained Waacking for over decade, sharing their knowledge through education, culture, and community. The goal in all of their classes is to create a safe-space where any dancer can truly embrace their inner-creativity through foundation, freestyle, and choreography. Jack believes that every dancer’s essence is who they become as a mover when one is looking, and seeks to bring that essence to life in every class.

Please pre-register to take a class. The first 30 pre-registered people to show up will get to take class.

What should I bring?
• Danceable clothing that you’re comfortable in!
• Face mask, if desired. Masks are optional in class.
• We recommend taking class barefoot or in socks, some styles in clean sneakers
• Water bottle

Accessibility:
