Class Description
Fluid Dance is a fusion of dance improvisation and mindful movement practices. This class delves into the exploration of fluidity, embracing the inherent qualities of water to inspire creativity and body expression. Inspired by the principles of Japanese Taiso Noguchi technique, yoga, dance and contact improvisation, participants are guided through an immersive experience designed to unlock fluidity and connect with the water within the body through creativity. bodily.
About the Teacher
Juliana Mendonca: She is an Interpreter, Choreographer and Teacher of Contemporary Dance, Latin Dances and Dance in the Water. She is a movement innovator influenced by traditional and popular Latin dances, butoh, contact improvisation, and physical theater. Throughout her career, she has developed a unique language with which she can express and create powerful art and healing experiences. Water has represented a very important element to understand oneself. She currently runs her own practice of aquatic dance and relaxation proposal, Liquidanza and lives in Oakland, California. www.liquidanza.com

What should I bring?
• Danceable clothing that you’re comfortable in!
• We recommend taking class barefoot or in socks, some styles in clean sneakers
• Water bottle
