Class Description
Choreography focused on pathways, timing, and textures with movement from modern and hip hop incorporating grooves, textures, and musicality.
About the Teacher
Leslie Panitchpakdi (she/her) started dancing in 2005, and started teaching around 2007 when she helped form a competitive hip hop company called Groove Against The Machine, and later started a training team called Groove Theory in 2018, both of which Leslie still directs. In 2011 Leslie opened a hip hop-based studio in Oakland called In The Groove Studios. She has also been an instructor at City Dance SF, Lines Ballet, and RAE studios.

Please pre-register to take a class. The first 30 pre-registered people to show up will get to take class.
What should I bring?
• Danceable clothing that you’re comfortable in!
• We recommend taking class barefoot or in socks, some styles in clean sneakers
• Water bottle

The class venue, The Joe Goode Annex, is ADA compliant and equipped with two private gender-neutral restrooms.
To ensure a comfortable environment for all participants, we kindly request refraining from using scented products in our classes.
