Class Description
A life-long practice will be presented via studying posture transitions and how to move healthfully and creatively from lying on the ground to sitting, crouching, standing, jumping and climbing. Dance will be contextualized within the framework of human evolution, anatomy and essential movement patterns for our species.
About the Teacher
Sebastian Grubb is an award-winning dance artist and movement coach based in California and Northern Europe. He choreographed, performed and toured contemporary dance works throughout the U.S. and overseas from 2008-2020. He has since turned his focus to teaching applied anatomy and somatics to movers of all kinds via workshops that emphasize deep sensing, technical refinement, and community. www.bodywagging.dance
Please pre-register to take a class. The first 30 pre-registered people to show up will get to take class.
What should I bring?
• Danceable clothing that you’re comfortable in!
• We recommend taking class barefoot or in socks, some styles in clean sneakers
• Water bottle

The class venue, The Joe Goode Annex, is ADA compliant and equipped with two private gender-neutral restrooms.
To ensure a comfortable environment for all participants, we kindly request refraining from using scented products in our classes.
In response to COVID-19, we strictly adhere to guidelines from state and city authorities, prioritizing the safety of our community. Masks are optional in our classes, following current regulations.
